About Me – The Story Behind I AM DEA

I didn’t start I AM DEA as a business.

I started it as a mum trying to help my child.

When my daughter Anna developed eczema, I felt frustrated and worried. I couldn’t find products that were truly gentle, natural, and safe for her sensitive skin. Many creams contained ingredients I didn’t understand, and some even made her skin worse. As a mum, that didn’t sit right with me.

So I decided to create something myself.

The first product I made was a whipped body butter — simple, nourishing, and made with natural ingredients. I wanted something that would comfort her skin, not irritate it. Soon after, I created a baby bum butter to help protect her skin from nappy rash and soothe redness.

The difference was incredible. Her skin looked calmer, softer, and healthier. That’s when everything changed.

What started as something for Anna quickly became something for our whole family. I began making products for myself — body butters, balms, and natural skincare I felt good using every single day. No harsh chemicals. No unnecessary fillers. Just ingredients I trust.

But I AM DEA is more than just natural skincare.

Every product is created with intention, care, and sacred geometry. I believe energy matters — and when something is made with love, presence, and purpose, you can feel the difference. Sacred geometry represents harmony, balance, and the natural patterns of life. I bring this intention into my creations so each product carries calm, nurturing energy.

The name DEA also holds deep meaning.

DEA means Goddess in Italian.

My mission is not only to create natural products, but to remind women that they are a goddess — strong, nurturing, intuitive, and powerful. As women, we often care for everyone else first. I AM DEA is a reminder to also care for ourselves, honour our bodies, and reconnect with our natural beauty.

I believe natural is best — especially when we have children. What we put on our skin matters. Our skin absorbs so much, and I wanted to create products that feel safe, gentle, and nourishing for the whole family.
